It’s hard to believe this commercial cost $300,000 to make. For those familiar with film making trivia, this is also the notorious shoot that claimed the lives of not one, not two, but three stunt doubles. Apparently each person pretending to take a bullet from what should have been a gun firing blanks was instead killed by a live mortar launcher tragically mistaken for the starter pistol.

Other trivia facts: The actor playing the Mexican gun fighter in this commercial has an advanced robotics degree from MIT, and in fact designed and created the robot in this commercial.

A common theme in food advertising is anthropomorphising the food item into a mascot. Is this not promoting a form of cannibalism? Worse still, must we assume the advertisers have forced the magic talking M&M to turn on its own kind?

Port Sherry examines the brainstorming process in realistic detail in this comic about a taco eating a taco.

In this terrifying commercial, we get to put a human face on the eggs we’re eating. Watch the ad below to gaze into the unrepentant face of the cannibal egg.
