A few weeks ago we looked at some Axe Body Spray ads. This spot is a funny addition to their series, managing the line between sexy and humorous quite well.
The biggest plus is that it doesn’t go too over the top. The old woman in the wheelchair is pushed off screen, but we don’t see her screaming down the aisle and crashing into anything; meanwhile the main actress commits very well to the part.
Being fairly jaded with all advertising, it’s rare to run across an ad that is enjoyable. Still, I don’t know about the product. I’ve been drinking a can of axe every day for like a month and it just keeps making me sick.

HAHAH!! i watched this like 3 times on TV! i asked all my friends but only one of them had ever seen it o_O! IT is SOO funNy!! I love when she sniffs it and she goes “Bom chicka wow woW!!” and snaps her fingers and he’s all like “WTF?”

See, I hate this ad because it’s false advertising. That stuff smells so much like refried ass that it’s pretty much a woman *repellant* - I sure as hell wouldn’t go out with any guy that smelled like a desperate 7th-grader. But I guess telling the truth wouldn’t sell too much Axe, would it?

I agree with Jonathan and Tiffany. This ad is one of the funniest. I checked out www.axeeffect.com and it list about five of the commercials. How hilarious!!! Now anytime I see a good looking man I say Bom Chicka Wah Wah!!!

This commercial is so annoying. Besides being completely retarded; the entire axe-product line is terrible. Nothing but grotesquely false advertising made to fool some low self esteemed-overly-desperate-moron. This product screams LOSER, and i highly doubt anyone(intelligent persons) “seriously” concerned about their “personal body oder(given it being some kind of problem)”, would turn to axe for any sort of relief.
BOSS, BVLGARI, Giorhio Armani, BOD etc etc; If any man is so desperate for a smell, may i suggest a product that doesnt tither in 5-10 minutes.
On the other hand….
IF you are one of those desperate individuals looking for a fragrance that attracts women like pennies, try another approach as any such cologne does NOT exist. In any case it would NOT be found in ANY axe product. If your bad with women, acknowledge that and dont try covering it up with 100+ layers of cologne and Toilettes.

Omg i love this comercial. I walk around sayin “bow chika bow wow!” all the time! and so does my boyfriend and rihgt now i am tryin to find a shirt that says that so i can buy it for him!! Love ya!

UH christian, its a funny exaggeration, and people DO get laid when they smell good. U dont want to stink when ur meeting people which u probably do, and THATS why uve never seen someone get laid for smelling good… maybe u could use some AXE…
